CAUTION: This is painful to read.

"European allegedly paid €50,000 for chance to kill tourist attraction, who was found headless after being shot with a bow and arrow and tracked for 40 hours."

I read about this. I won't say in public what I think should happen to the murderer of this beautiful lion.

I read about this on facebook and it made me sick to my stomach...HOW could anyone find pleasure in killing this beautiful, magnificent lion?  Greed.  This beautiful animal was stolen from us so a small few could profit.  I hate people that would participate in this.

I don't even have to read the article, the snippet included in the post is enough for me.

Smaug, I'll say it for you - I'd like to set him on fire.

The person who shot this manificent beautiful creature for sport with a bow and arrow and beheaded it should suffer the same fate. Those who participated in the hunt shouldn't be spared either.  What kind of conscious do these people have to take part in something so cruel.

I cannot--and am not sure I want to--understand how we humans can be so inhumane.  It damages all of us.

The news is full of the tragedy of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, but, to me, this story is more tragic.  Bobbi Brown at least had a choice.

The experts say that many murderers tortured animals when they were children. This 'hunter' sounds like someone that enjoys this dangerous, sick behavior.

This brought up an old memory.  Our son was about 10 years old.  He came into the house, thoroughly disgusted by what he witnessed a neighbor child doing.  The other boy caught and tortured a bird.  When telling me about it, our son called him, "a future convict."    It's decades later, and our son's prophecy came true.  The other 'boy' is in prison now for attempted murder.
