And it was a 'professional guide' that lured Cecil outside of the game reserve boundaries with BAIT, so the scumbag coward could try to kill him with a bow & arrow.
He only wounded him, then he tracked him for 2 days, while he suffered from his wounds, finally found him and shot him with a rifle. He then skinned him, decapitated him and destroyed his tracking collar from the reserve, to destroy evidence.
The guide was paid $50,000 by the so called hunter.
They should suffer the fate as Cecil, as far as I'm concerned.
RIP Cecil.......

Jimmy Kimmel had a great response. I too hope the dentist is doomed one way or the other. The dentist is sickening.

Maybe this will help to stop the barbaric so- called sport of hunting. Let Cecil be a voice for the thousands of animals and birds shot for sport not only in Africa but probably right in our own state. It's an outdated, Medieval sport. Are you listening England?

I went to Africa in 2013 and did the Lion Encounter and walked with three teenage lions. They are magnificent animals and I got the chills when I stroked the animal and pet him...we then walked to the river, it was very hot 110 degrees and they keep leading us to the shade and they played like kittens with us. It was memorable. There are serious conservation efforts in Africa because the number of lions has diminished. The Rangers are dedicated to these lions and they love them and know every pride and have relationships with the young lions bred there and cared for before release. Also, Rangers on the reserves have been killed protecting these beautiful creatures by poachers; it is a very spiritual relationship between man and beast there. I find it hard to believe any "ranger" would lure any animal from safety....maybe it was a "guide" not a ranger??? No matter who that person is, the punishment should fit the crime, unfortunately, it won't involve pain and suffering or death. It breaks my heart to see Cecil's picture.

What was done to this beautiful creature was Horrific and Barbaric!
I just heard on the radio that there are growing protests outside of Palmer's dental office in Minnesota...I'm sure he's in hiding...Coward...and now has become the hunted!...I bet that veneer smile has been wiped off his face, at the very least!
Have you all seen the proud photographs of his Kills, including Cecil?...Despicable!!

That Dentist was shown in various photos with various kills he had made throug the years. I was all so very wrong!!! Posing with a deah rhino, a cheetah, etc. What is wrong with people who hunt for trophies????

Love Roses: In my personal opinion, they are very sick individuals! Twisted mind; twisted person.
The beauty of Cecil and what happened breaks my heart![]()
