@Annabellethecat66

I have a large spot on the carpet in my master bedroom - peed on by my previous dog. It looks clean for a while - but the stains do come back. For the rest of the carpet in the house - when it dries, it looks new!!!! I was ready to re-carpet all the bedrooms/hallway --- but didn't want to deal with the hassle and it would probably cost me a few thousand dollars.

I have roomies and most of the time, they don't even vacuum.

My carpet is 17 years old!!!!

I usually find a local pro carpet cleaner from Groupon. The last few times I used the same local guy and he did a really good job. He cleaned just under 1000sqft of carpet for about $200.

I think if you really are happy with the work he's been doing I'd stay with him. Sounds like it's only an extra $25 to get it done.

People do need to raise their prices eventually. Cost of his supplies are probably up as well as the expense of traveling around. When you're self employed it's hard to raise prices because your regulars get used to it but it needs to be done once in a while.

The company we use is Zerorez.  We get ours cleaned for either $89.00 or $99.00 for 3 rooms.  On top of that figure we get the protectorant, be it scotchguard or whatever they call it.   I don't know how much we pay for that.  That's with a coupon special. I think they're a franchise chain so they may be in California.  I'm in Nevada.

@Tyak

I saw them on Yelp, in my area code. There were only 2 reviews. They're not known here.
