They may have bought that RV based on the notion that she was secure in her job.  I know change is always a part of life, but I just can't warm up to the new hosts.  Carolyn was always so positive and you could just tell she loved her job at the Q.  I find that I just don't watch much anymore.  The younger ones are so fake, but I guess they marketing to those who love that over-made-up look, too bad they don't care about the rest of us.  I can name countless other host that should have been let go, but Carolyn was not one of them. I thank QVC may live to regret this.

I am beside myself about the news of Carolyn's departure from QVC.  I cannot relate to most other presenters.  They are either too young, talk too much, or act and dress childish.  I could think of several of them I'd much rather see go.  Oh well, I have been thinking of not ordering Denim & Co anymore anyway.  I'm tired of the inconsistent sizing and most of all the proucts being made in China.

Hi simplyfriends.  No it was not her choice.  QVC laid off 400 employees..  Carolyn & Dan Hughes were part of QVC's package.  I've told everyone that I know.  What were they thinking?  Disgraceful.:smileysad

Thanks Anninca, I couldn't have said it better.  Carolyn was funny, always messing around with Gary Goben and having a good time.  Sad day on QVC!

What a shock when I first read this I thought April Fools joke!  I immediately turned off QVC and did some research, just couldn't believe that company would be so stupid.  Sadly I found out this is true and found Carolyn's Facebook page and read her posts and had a good cry.  I will miss her!   I will miss Dan also, he was always so professional and worked so well with all the different vendors and they all seemed to like him so well. What a shame!  QVC will never be the same to me.

So SAD! She was the only host I truly felt was "playing herself". No matter what she was selling, if she was on and I tuned in I stayed tuned in. I will miss her. I don't buy as much as I used too, now that amount will dwindle.  P.S. letting Shannon Smith go over at HSN was an equally stupid move!
