It makes me think perhaps some of the hosts that have willingly left in the last few years saw the handwriting on the wall.

@sunshine45   You are talking about Dan Wheeler aren't you?  Not Dan Hughes?

Interesting that both Carolyn and Dan are not only in their sixties, but both had serious health problems in the past.

I'm so sorry to hear that a solid professional like Carolyn is gone, poof, in this manner.  And Dan!  Have always liked him.   He is funny, and affable, and brought personality to all his appearances on the Q.   Terrible decision to let these two go from the roster.

Awww I'm actually stunned by this news.  She is a wonderful host and really did a great job (I thought she did).  I will miss her on the Q.  I always watched her Denim & Co shows as well as gardening shows.  She was also just on SMQ and was awesome in that spot! She was relatable (I'm an animal lover and work with a rescue).  I just hope she is happy and wish her the best.

I'm not only shocked by this news, but flabbergasted she didn't announce on air and they didn't have even a small send off for her. They celebrate birthdays, five years working etc. all the time.

She was excellent at her job with a great voice and I will truly miss watching her. I really hope this was her choice because for all of us this is so sudden. Woman Sad I hope she and her family are well.

Wow.  I too will miss Carolyn.  Her presentations were instrumental in enticing me to purchase items.
