I get these calls all day long starting at 7am till 9pm and even later. Scammers that say they are from my power co, my car dealer, the SS, my health care provider, the local sheriff, myself (yes I looked and the caller id said it was was from me!!!) I NEVER answer the phone anymore and I give a one finger salute to all the crooks calling me.

I know these are scams, but it does beg the question .... how do LEGITIMATE issuers of car warranties market their product?

everyday it seems !   I dont answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.

The legitimate warranty companies are the ones that deal with dealerships who offer extended warranties at the time you purchase a new car. 

If you buy that extended warranty, these companies have your name and address, and send their extended coverage offers in the mail.

Another one that's relentless is a survey business that shows on caller ID as Dynata.

Yesterday alone I blocked them from 3 different numbers.
