We get the same calls. It always starts with "we're giving one last chance . . ." Although we call block, the numbers always seem to change.

What makes me laugh is we don't have a car and haven't had one for 3 years!!

Must be I get calls and letters as well telling me my warranty is fixing to expire. My warranty is with Ford and the extended as well. They must think some folks do not know the difference. Thank goodness I spent the extra $1.00 per month for the extended because when the car was three years old the air conditioning went out. Cost me $100.00 deductible and the warranty included a loaner car for the week I was without mine.

@jlkz Not only do they call quite often, they leave a voice mail. I never answer my phone for a number I do not recognize. Most telemarketers hang up, but these guys have their robo calls programmed to leave a message.

These scam calls are coming from people who have managed to get their hands on an old list that simply identifies us as a vehicle owner.

I am on a list that says I own a 1993 Dodge, which was 4 vehicles ago. Their spiel is to get you to tell them what vehicle you currently own, so they can push to sell an extended warranty from whatever company they supposedly represent. You're only going to be able to pay for this "warranty" by credit card, which is the whole purpose of the scam.

I stopped answering calls unless they are already in my contact list years ago. When these fools were able to have their phone number show up with my area code I was done with so called local calls.
