There is nothing more frustrating or aggravating, and a time waster than looking

for lost keys! Ugh. I put a hook at the back door and hang them up as soon

as I walk in. (that won't help this time, but maybe once you find them}

The thing I misplace in the house CONSTANTLY is my cell phone. UGGGHHH!!!

If you are Catholic, ask for St. Anthony's intercession - he is the patron saint of

lost things. 😂

Ding ding ding!  I was beginning to think I was the only one on this thread with an Air Tag on my keys.  A couple of weeks ago I couldn't find my keys and the tag showed them as being in my house. It led my to the closet where they were hiding in a purse I had used the day before.  Definitely worth it to invest in one of these little gadgets.  Years ago I lost a set of keys and had to replace the remote to my car - youch!  I don't ever want to go through that again.

Yes, well under the car seat,and yes i had looked yesterday, but did not see them today i decided to take a flash light out to the garage,and they were in a dark spot,but the flashlight showed them ,gosh i was soooo releaved,i am going to get copies made of them all.

I know I'm repeating this story, but I agree that you NEVER put your car or house keys in your purse.  Never. 

About the time the handbag style of two handles and a long strap was popular, purse snatching went up noticeably.  

Our employer had the Beverly Hills Police dept come in for a women's safety class.  They said when women walk down the street with their handbag in the crook of their elbow and the long strap dangling down, that's what they call the purse snatcher's dream. 

It's easy for a thief to come up behind a woman and push her to the ground.  It's instinct to put out her arms to break her fall, and that's the moment when they can grab the longer strap and run like heck.  They can be two blocks away by the time the lady gets to her feet. 

Problem is ... if the woman had her keys, wallet AND phone all in her handbag, she can't even get home ... or call the credit card companies ... or whomever else she needs to call.

With her keys and driver's license, they can go to her address and see if a break-in is possible.

The statistics were shocking. 

The moral of the story was ... ALWAYS keep your keys in your pocket, never your handbag.

Okay, I'm getting off my soapbox now, lol.
