@goldensrbest , Hope you found your keys.  Many great suggestions in this thread.

Maybe the keys fell somewhere where you set your grocery bags down?  If you set your grocery bags down on a kitchen table or dining room table, maybe the keys fell off the table onto one of the chairs.  Or if the grocery bags were set on the kitchen counters, maybe the keys fell between refrigerator and counter, or got pushed behind a bowl on the counter, or ended up in a fruit bowl, . . .

Check every cabinet where you put items away.

Using a flashlight, look under the car seats (from front seat, and from the back seat area looking under the front seats).  Also look in between the seats and armrests and sides of the console between the seats.  Also the trunk if that is where the groceries were retrieved from.  Look around the outside of the car.

I was always losing my car keys in our house so my husband bought an alarm for them. I put one part on the key ring and the other part in my purse. If I cannot find my keys, I push the alarm in my purse and the alarm goes off on my keys so I know where they are.

@goldensrbest

Oh no!  I hope you have found your keys by now.  That is my one big fear, especially as I'm alone.

I also separated my house & car key.  No sense in losing both of them at the same time.  And I have an airtag on my car key fob.  I once was dumping recycles in my development and threw my car fob right into the large canister.  Our maintenance guy tried to help, but fob was lost.  It cost about $350 to replace.  Ugh.

When I come in the door, I drop my house key & car key in a little basket by the door.

Good luck!

Be sure to look in zippered pockets in your purse.

@goldensrbest .................I think it would be a great idea of key rings would have a clapper on them.  Lost keys?  Just clap your hands.

I hope you find them soon.

edited to add..........Did you get into your car trunk and maybe left them in there?
