@goldensrbest   I hear you!  I have lost 3 times, only have one show up in a produce bag, in fridge 3 DAYS  later. guess I came in from store and in a rush had keys in hand, and let go in bag when putting produce away. The other, the housekeepers found, we don't know where 2 YEARS later. The last was found in back pocket of old jeans that fell in back of closet hidden.  All that time we were down to one key, and at one point had to purchase second one.

look in the oddest places.  Retrace steps. Remember if they fall, they bounce some where.  You poor woman.!!

and when you find them @goldensrbest,

fingers crossed! make some extras ok?

I started carrying an extra car and house key in my wallet. Sometimes I just take that and my keys.

I'm determined to never be locked out of my car plus house again!

Is it possible you dropped them into another one of your purses? @goldensrbest

@goldensrbest   I'm TERRIFIED of losing my keys.  That's why I have duplicate keys that I always carry in a zipped compartment of the wallet I keep all my credit cards in so it's ALWAYS on me.

I sincerely hope this isn't true but is it possible that the keys dropped into a bag you threw out or dropped into your trash can?

So very sorry this happened to you!  Good Luck finding your keys,

The fancy electronic key fobs they use now can't be duplicated and cost hundred of dollars from the dealer.

I have a dog-leash type of spring clasp on a key ring and as soon as I take the keys out of the car or door lock, I clip it to my handbag.

Haven't lost keys since I started doing this,  and they're easy to grab.

I never keep my house keys on the same chain as my car keys.  Always separate.  I keep both hanging on the front door.

I always hang my keys on a hook by the garage entry to the house.    There is NOTHING within walking distance here...not even home delivery of mail.

Wish I had thought of the remote location 30 years ago...

@goldensrbest  Have you looked in the washer or dryer? Have you gone through all your kitchen drawers? Do you have grocery bags that you use all the time, maybe they dropped in one of them. Could you have dropped it in your car or the trunk? Just suggestions. Hopefully, you will find them soon. Sometimes, we are in a hurry and put things in odd places.

Check every surface or room, even if you think you never went in there.  I lost my keys one day after a trip, looked everywhere, high and low, EXCEPT the room I thought I NEVER went into after coming home.   Guess where my keys were?!

Good luck to you, I hope you find them soon!
