@BeccaLou

Eddy is my furbaby - always at my side.  He was drooling when making the cupcakes - that's why I mentioned him.

If you go to HSN, it's a Holstein Cupcake Maker.  I have the twelve cupcake one.  I just looked up the dimensions: 13.5 x 13.5 x 5.

@eddyandme Thanks for the update...sounds like it’s a hit at your house.I like not having to use the papers because I don’t care to add more chemicals to my cooking.

I don't understand the value of this.   Does it just shave a few minutes off the time?    Is it better than using a cupcake pan and an oven?

Clearly, I'm not their target market as I probably haven't made cupcakes in decades but even if I were making them it seems like the cupcake pan (that everybody has at least one of, right?) and either the regular oven or the countertop convection oven (would save a tiny bit on the electricity) would work just fine.

They sure come up with some gadgets!  Smiley Very Happy

@BeccaLou I just posted a picture of it.  I just googled cupcake maker.  The picture I posted was from Amazon but there are many makers of this and the prices range from low to high.

I decided I'd probably never use the thing as I cook very little anyway.

Probably so but the demonstration had the baker/cook doing several different 'things' with it.

It would just be one more thing I'd never use.  You just wouldn't believe @BeccaLou all of the 'stuff' I have that I never use.

Although sometimes things do come in handy.  For instance I sent away for that claw grabber thingy and I received 2 of them.

Then 2 weeks ago my daughter broke her tibia (sp) in 2 places in Vale sking.  I sent her that and the (I call it ice machine) it's something that's medical and you put ice in it and wrap it around your legs after an operation and circulates the blood.

Anyway, I bought the thing (not cheap) but there you go.  She'd have had to rent it but....ta da...good old Mom owned it!  Ha!  See, you never know.

At last, I just made some blueberry muffins (package mix).  Delish!

It took about twelve minutes and they came out steaming hot and yummy.  Eddy and I just polished one off - no butter needed 'cause they are nice and moist!  The first batch I made were a little small - I filled it according to pkg directions (perhaps I miss read!); so, took those out and immediately made another batch.

I highly recommend.  Eddy follows me to the counter and goes eh,eh - his way of telling me he wants one; think he's afraid that I won't share, but actually, he gets more than his fair share - duh!  Well, gotta eat another - think I may try a little butter to see which way I like better!Woman Very Happy

I purchased two Tovalo Spatularts to easily remove them from the machine.  Though there was no sticking, it was very hot.  My next putchase will be those batter dispensers they were selling along with this on HSN - they're sold out now, along with the cupcake maker.Woman Frustrated

After we polish off these blueberry muffins, which will be soon, I presume, I'm gonna make some strawberry cupcakes.  Oh, in case you're wondering, I did not use any cupcake papers, just put the batter in there.

Hope this comes back to HSN soon in case you're wanting to purchase.  I'm still waiting for the Dash Deluxe Egg Cooker.  Like poached eggs and my toaster only does two at a time, which means I share mine with my furbaby!Woman LOL

Have a nice day - and if anyone's in the latest storm area, keep safe and sound!

Thanks for updating. I certainly don’t need this but it’s so stinkin’ cute. I had never seen this appliance until you posted. Glad you and Eddy are enjoying it. 😊

It looks easier then messing with the cupcake pan and papers. If it's more fun I would make more cupcakes becasue I don't make any now. It is hard to store stuff, that's the only problem. You could probably make little frittatas or quiches for breakfast too.

@dimin

They do have recipes for pizza/corn dog cupcakes.  I've been thinking of quiche like the ones they sell on Q also, as well as stuffing cupcakes - I love stuffing and was thinking of cooking it, then filling stuffing shells with mashed potatoes and gravy with more stuffing on top, which would be a diet portion.  Wish they had a thread on this for recipe ideas..

The clean up was nothing!  I dampenned a paper towel and wiped it up - it was basically clean!!!

Storing isn't bad for me - vertically; but, Annabellethecat posted a 6cupcake one which would probably be half the size.
