In Houston:
"Beer may not be purchased after midnight on a Sunday, but it may be purchased on Monday."

I think Kentucky or Tennessee has a law that, You have to bathe at least once a year.------------tedEbear

NC has a law on the books against 'Stoned Horses', but no one remembers what it's for, or why it's there.

And exactly HOW did fish get drunk?
********* It was a joke! I made that story up to see if anyone would fall for it but Plaid Pants2 didn't go for the bait (no pun intended!) Look at post 12. I got a kick out of what she said. Guess I blew it!

It also came up that in Ohio, it's illegal to fish for whales on Sunday. LOL
It sounds like the OHIO lawmakers are the ones who were drunk!
Florida isn't any better:
It is illegal to sing in a public place while wearing a swimsuit.
Women can be fined for falling asleep under a hair dryer, as can the salon owner.
And my personal favorite:
If an elephant is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid as it would for a vehicle.

.....I imagine some drunk fish got behind the wheel of his truck and killed someone.

Back to fish. In Indiana it was against the law to catch a fish with your hand. I can believe it.
About 5 or 6 yrs. ago my nephew (about 40 then) was at a reservoir with his family. He was trying to show some guys how to catch a fish with some string (no fishing poles no worms involved). Little did he know that the fish and game wardens were watching him through their binoculars. No boat...this was from on shore. They gave him a warning. He had no fishing license of course because he wasn't really fishing. They said "they would let him off with a warning this time". Those game wardens must have been awful bored that day!

LOL It is also against the law in PA to catch fish with your hands. In fact, it is illegal to catch fish with any part of your body other than your mouth!
