 I don't know what to say anymore.  It was shocking news to wake up to this morning. I pray for his family and the people he served.  Sadly, I don't think it will end here.  The world is in trouble.

This was such a shock to hear he was attacked last night...and then his death was announced this morning...what a sad, needless death. He was a true friend of the US. The assassin used a homemade gun. Just horrid

I was really fond of his leadership.  This is just horrible. The gun violence is nearly 0 in Japan, and for this to happen

I saw the video on the news this morning.   So sad and seneseless, that a good man's life was cut short violently.  May he rest in peace.

Japan has very little gun violence incidents.  Last year there were ten shootings and one death according to news reports.

Such a tragedy. Abe was a true and faithful friend to the United States over the years. Condolences and peace to Mr. Abe's family and the people of Japan for their loss.

He was a fine man and leader. He always did his best to improve the lives of the Japanese people. A true patriot and loyal friend to the US. May he Rest In Peace.
