Oh come on! At any given time, QVC has a "Golden Goose Du Jour".

For a while, it was Bruce Makowsky.

Or Susan Graber.

Or Lori Goldstein.

Or IT Cosmetics.

You get the idea ... whomever is bringing in the most $$$$ gets the most airtime. I'm sure it can be a very heady time for that person.

Martha Stewart is an icon. Kim is not; she is capitalzing on her Q popularity now by expanding her brand to include lots of different things. She and Martha Stewart are so totally idifferent in every way there could never compete; each is successful in their own right.

She did her time and did it well. She bounced back from it. There are so many famous people who have done worse and they got away with it.

She was found guilty of lying about a stock trade and did her five months. She doesn't owe anyone any more. She paid her dues.

She worked to get where she is today. Her crime didn't pay.

Why bring up the past from 2003? It's over and done with. Stop being so mean and let it go.

KG went from being a beauty queen, to a beauty pageant coach on to designing clothes and makeup. It all fits in to the flow of things for her. To me it appears that coming to the Q was her calling and it worked out great for her.
