I disagree. I believe Kim G. has a strong sense of herself. I don't believe she feels she needs to "channel" anybody. She is very successful right now and is capitalizing on it as most other designers would.

Kim doesn't need to be Martha Stewart. She only needs to be herself. I enjoyed her Christmas show Saturday night and purchased 2 sets of her 70 piece ornaments.

I disagree as well.  Kim has her own style and has already proved her worth to QVC in sales.  If not, she wouldn't be on all the time and allowed to branch out more and more.  

Kim's decor in pinks and cream and huge deer stags looks just like what I'd expect from Kim.  It's fun and kind of "out there" at the same time -- and that's fine.  

I see nothing of Kim's decor that reminds me of Martha's style, at all.  Martha's style to me looks bespoke and luxury.  At least that's the theme it gives.  She does lots and lots of gold, silver, and champagne & copper.

There is only1 Martha Stewart. While Kim is talented in her own right she is not Martha Stewart!!!!

Thank heavens she’s not like Martha Stewart! Kim is her own person with her own sense of style. She seems to be warm & kind & MS is not. MS is talented no one can dispute that but she will sell anything to make a buck. Kitty Litter, dirt & now medical adaptive equipment. How much money do you need?
