After my godmother passed away, I found her grammar school and HS rings neatly tucked away in her hope chest...I wear one or the other every day as a pinky ring in her honor.
I found out recently that my cousin does the same with her mom's grammar school ring too (they were sisters!)

It was from 1948...maybe it was more common back then!

I do!!! My parents paid $21. Josten's takes care of it for life, so several years ago I had it cleaned & reconditioned. We would wear ours upside down for our junior year & turn it for our senior. Now you can buy them anywhere but neither my daughter or granddaughter wanted one. They were a big deal when I was in high school.

I never wanted one. Ours were incredibly ugly and high school was not my cup of tea.

My husband wears his college class ring. I didn't get a high school or college ring.

Still have mine - and the receipt. In 1973, I paid $37 for it. It is 14k and the gold is also filled in behind the stone (whereas today many are open or filigree). I wore it about a year and put it away - never liked that the stone (which was supposed to be green, looked black). Probably good idea to sell when gold prices soar again.

My class ring rolled around in the drawer for years. One day took it to the jeweler and had a large cigar type ring made from it.I sold the ruby that was our class stone.I wear my gold ring everyday and wished I had done this so much sooner. It was exspensive to do this but well worth it......
