Agree with others - If you've got the Christmas spirit no one can take it from you, so enjoy your holiday to the fullest.

I have Christmas spirit more than holiday spirit. I was wondering today what month would be more convenient to celebrate Christmas. From Thanksgiving through New Years -- it's one, busy season.

Just have grace for some of us who work a little harder to keep it simple during this busy time. We're not all Grinches.

Embrace and enjoy your holiday to the fullest! I love it that you love it.

I am just glad this season only has a week to go. Since it started in July it has been a long trip.

Well in the Spirit of Christmas, I managed to get myself out to go get a badly needed hair cut.  Took all the energy I had, but got it done.  Turned out very nice.  Glad I went.  If I didn't go today, it wouldn't have gotten done before Christmas.

By the way, it is about 55 out there this afternoon, and the sun felt so good.  That is really what made me get up the go to get my hair cut.

This time of year causes buried emotions to rise up plus current anxieties to roil.  Social media offers a convenient place to release some of it.  Let's not expect such posts to make sense, such as the "don't say Merry Christmas" comment because it is intended only to feel better, logic need not apply.  IMO, the downer posts are not just about this season but about the concerning times we're in. "Baby It's Cold Out There" times ten.

@Free2be.....so agree with you on this.  And also with so much going on in our world and our country today, people are feeling a tad anxious about that too.

I thank God that I am still alive to see another Christmas.

@fourpaws56......hi dear one.  Both you and Lesa have given me hearts......  Looks like the thread has died out.  But, that is ok.  We can always find each other on other threads.....or do a shout out.

Have missed posting with you.  Am sure you are all ready for Christmas.  Bet those 2 little ones are getting excited.

My chemo buddy.....Sheri......  She and her sweet hubby are coming to be with me for part of Christmas day.  Will be bringing dinner for us so we can have fun eating and laughing.  Got her a couple things she will have to open.  Right now she is only taking her treatments about 4 weeks apart.  That way they aren't as hard on her.

Love ya sweetie......
