I too was a huge fan. Thursdays was the Cosby show for many years. I was sadden by the loss of his son along with his other fans. I didn't want to believe the allegations.
I just don't understand. As many have written, I'm sure he could have many willing participants if cheating was his nature especially with his wife 'okay' with it. I don't think it was just cheating. I think he is and was a sick 'b@stard' and wanted unconcious women. He didn't want willing partners. That was his hey, hey, hey.

She's in her 70's and they've been married for over 50 years. It doesn't surprise me at that she's in denial over this. She's by NO means the only wife who has accepted her husband's infidelities. Today, we call it an open marriage; 50 years ago, it was just being practical. A woman did not walk away from a marriage that suited her just because her husband "went out with" other women. If Jackie Kennedy was still with us you could ask her about that or better yet, ask Hillary. She knew he was a womanizer, I think she can't wrap her head around the idea that he was a serial rapist. I feel sorry for her. Of course, she wants to "fix" the problem. Of course, she wants it to all to just go way. Otherwise, she has to face the truth. Her husband is many, many times worse than an adulterer. He's sick, he's evil and she was an enabler. Not many 75 year old women could accept that.

Whether or not this story is true, I think Mrs Cosby would be better served by saying nothing.

This woman is trying to preserve her millions of dollars. She knew what was going on. Seems to me she did not want to divorce because of the money and the fame and her precious last name. Married to this man for all the years I'm sure she knew and to keep him she put up with it. Mostly everyone adored this man highly respected and no one except his victims had a clue. Pathetic how the public holds him as a saint when he is the Devil!!
Insiders in the entertainment business never liked dealing with this nasty, arrogant man. Many were afraid of him and his power.
The only people who ever respected him are the clueless public.
What a piece of work this guy is! Sheesh!
He was well known as a nasty and highly critical man - especially of females and their looks. Most didn't want any dealings with him. You're right only the clueless public were all fooled by him.

There was an interview not too long ago, Camille sitting beside Bill throughout it, Bill crypticly let the inteviewer know he would have his ... handed to him on a platter if he didnt strike those few questions pertaining to the rape alllegations from the interview. Camille had a polite smile on her face during this whole time, she never even flinched. I would have been mortified, you would have seen total pain on my face had I been her. I lost any respect for her right there.

I put Camille Cosby in the same category as Dottie Sandusky. They are both married to successful, well-paid, influential men. They have their own reputations, lifestyle, and basking in the husband's fame. If they admitted they had become aware of or enabled the husband's behavior, they would lose the public's respect. I don't see how Camille could not know that Bill abused women for years and years and years. Drugging them into unconsciousness, maybe not, but extreme coersion, yes. As for Dottie, she plays innocent to try to avoid being known as complicit in her husband's crimes.
