Burned Pan! Any Suggestions on How to Clean Interior?

Darn...I burned something that was in my Dutch oven that has a porcelain or ceramic interior. I was able to remove much of it, but there is still a lot on the bottom of the pot. I know I shouldn't use real abrasive cleaners with that kind of interior, but it is an older pot so I'm not worried about scrubbing off some of the interior.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks much!

Half a lemon and salt cleans my stainless steel pans and  brass beautifully.

When I scorch my pots and pans I boil a little vinegar in them and it usually comes right off.

I used Soft Scrub when my Green Pans had stuck-on food.

It's almost identical to the scrub used for smooth electric ranges.

Add a few spoonfuls of baking soda to the pot, add water to cover the burnt area plus some (make sure there's at least 2 inches of water). Put pot back on the stove and bring to a boil, allow to boil for a few minutes. Let the water cool and use the water in it to wash the pot. You may have to treat it a few times, but this works like a charm.

These are the methods I use for anything burned on Le Creuset

1 part liquid laundry detergent and 2 parts water, boil for 15 minutes. Scrape with a wooden spoon while boiling to help release burned material. Cool, drain, rinse and use plastic scraper with bar keepers friend alternating with a scrubby sponge as needed. You can repeat the boiling process multiple times to get it all off.

alternative

Add about 1/2 inch of Hydrogen Peroxide to the pot. Add about 1-2 tsp of baking soda.

Heat until it starts to bubble up. It needs the heat to start the reaction. Simmer about 10 mins..and brush with a green scrub brush. Repeat as needed.

It gets into the bond of the carbon and lifts it of the pan. It will bubble and stink, so turn on your vent. But it won't harm the enamel.

For plastic melted on, an inch of water and sprinkle on baking soda then heat the pan slowly until the plastic pops off, usually in one piece you don't want to keep heating so the plastic all melts again, just until it releases.

I would try the liquid "bar keepers friend".

Make a paste of Barkeepers Friend and hot water – put that on the bottom of your pan and use a Scrub daddy sponge to work off the burned food area. Neither of those two will scratch anything. It requires a little elbow grease in the rubbing, but usually not too much with these two items used together.
