Yes, with young George, it often seems his parents are going for the Little Lord Fauntleroy look

They have Boris

Here's the full shot. George looks almost as tall as Great Grandma, but he and Charles may be standing on a step.

@ValuSkr ,You are right. I found this pic showing them standing on a step!

Buckingham Palace released a new portrait to mark the start of a new decade. This is only the second time a portrait has been issued of the Queen, Charles, William and George; the first was released in April 2016 to mark Her Majesty's 90th birthday.
The youngest royal's elevated position in the new picture is reminiscent of the 2016 photo, when then-two-year-old George stood next to his great-grandmother on a blue and black step, holding the hand of his father, William.

The mordern royaqlty is ceremonial and philanthropic, not rulers. When the Brtish royalty actually ruled centuries past, there were quite a few I would not have been happy to be subject to. Talk about abuse of power!

Whenever I see photos of William I can't help but think how like his smile is to his Mother's.

They don't rule or reign, but are supposed to, presumably, be perfect examples of ... whatever.
Since people aren't perfect and the royals have a whole PR machine to work on keeping up the pretense and appearances, the Brits are all seeing a family of inauthentic people who never had to apply for the job or be voted into office.
They also have billions in personal holdings ... some would say that's nice work if you can get it.

@Tinkrbl44 Thanks for the info but I think I know all about the Royal family. They don’t rule anyone. Royalty has been around in Europe for ages.
