I think that males with large breasts covering up would be the way to go but we know how that goes.

I hope not. We already have lost manners and the f word has become so overused that speech is boring. I hope we don't adopt public open urinals as our found in the Europe some admire.

I think people look to be offended. When I dine out, I am focused on my company at the table. I am not looking about finding something to "gross me out." Quite a few years ago, I was at a fine dining establishment and my stepsister was sitting right across from me, her baby was sleeping. I thought. When she picked baby up and started burping her, I asked to hold her, she said sure, just give me a moment, she just finished eating. After that I noticed she adjusted her shirt. I honestly have never seen a breast feeder/flasher. But then again. I am not looking for offense where there is none. There are so many real things to worry about.

In case no one has previously mentioned this, the woman in the Texas Roadhouse incident has filed a lawsuit.

Each individual will decide if they think it is warranted in this instance, or if the woman in question had some kind of agenda.

@Highlands72  I would bet my eye teeth that she has an agenda.  In addition, she has the law on her side.

I'm older than dirt and childless by choice.

I have no problem with breastfeeding in public as long as it's relatively discreet, which I'm sure happens most of the time.  I've only witnessed it once - at WDW no less.  The young woman was discreetly seated on a park bench near a restaurant and was covered; I just happened to glance that way.

I guess I prefer infants receiving natural nutrients/antibodies from their mothers...

I don't recall any suggestion that either party was in violation of the law, but since I am not familiar with the specifics of the case, I have no idea if any punitive action was taken against her or if the restaurant employee was simply conveying a request by other patrons. As far as I know, she was neither asked to leave nor to cease nursing once the request was made for her to cover up.

If the court finds that she is entitled to punitive damages because of a rude act by the restaurant employee, then she is entitled to whatever the court awards. There will be an out-of-court settlement, of course.

I hope that her intentions are of the purest nature; on the other hand, provocation merely to receive financial compensation will do the "cause" no benefit.

I do not presume to have any idea what her motive was.

P.S. Provocation can be a good thing, if not done solely for personal gain. It worked for the Civil Rights movement, thank goodness.
