We really like eggs so we have them all ways and for any meal.

We do this every couple of weeks. Last time, DH grilled sausage patties, made French toast, and scrambled eggs all on our outdoor grill. We ate on the patio. That was fun!

I would love to do it and I have when DH would go out of town, sometimes I would just have cheese and crackers and a glass of wine for dinner.  DH is retired now, so I cook most nights.  Luckily he cleans up.  He's going out next week with friends for dinner, so I'm looking forward to not having him home for dinner and mayble I have breakfast for dinner, or cheese and crackers with a glass of wine!!!

@Hayfield, your post reminded me -

At the weekend I happened upon a French restaurant and had paté, cheese and French bread, along with a mimosa, for lunch. I felt so civilized! ;-)

I hate breakfast for dinner...unless it is just a bowl of cereal.

I'm not a fan of eggs much at any time of the day. So if it is an egg based meal, count me out in the afternoon or evening for sure, and I'd rather skip it for breakfast too!

I can eat some good pancakes (Bob Evans or McDonalds) but I make terrible ones at home, so it is an eat out only kind of thing for me, even for those.

Once or twice a month, we may have eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for dinner.  It works for us because we could never eat all that for breakfast, just never eat much at that time of day.

omg, you had me at huevos ranchero!!!  It is one of my favorite dishes, but....it has to authentic.  There are only a couple of dive places that serves it to my taste!  Gently fried egg simmered in salsa, served with frijoles refrito, and homemade flour torts!  The beans have melted queso on them.

I ordered this dish 20 years ago in a chain mexican restaurant.  They served a fried egg on a corn tortilla with a dot of salsa on top, from a jar i am sure.  That was it.  I nearly cried.  Sent it back, ordered something else.

Love me some breakfast for dinner!  Scrambled up two eggs with cheddar cheese and lots of black pepper and a half a toasted everything bagel with butter.  Delish!  How often do you have breakfast for dinner?

.....whenever I can!!! Favorites are French toast made w/ challah, omelettes made w/ fresh spinach & feta, pancakes & just bacon & eggs. Yum! I'm too lazy & sleepy to go to that much trouble in the morning. I'd much rather have my favorite meal at night when I'm awake enough to enjoy it....just swap out the coffee for decaf. 😜
