Break-ins to home of those who have evacuated for the Hurricane are beginning to be reported. What on earth is wrong wth people!?

That infuriates me.

1.  Then people don't want to evacuate for fear of being robbed;

2.  The people that stay behind to break in might need to be rescued, putting the lives of others in danger

And this is why so many people will risk their lives to stay and protect their homes, because of thugs like these!  I hope the courts respond accordingly to people like these who are caught.

Usually the police are on these people immediately since all they are doing is patrolling a ghost town.  Here's hoping they catch them and, if not, that Matthew brings them some karma.  I would love to see a pic of the thief standing in the wreckage of his stolen goods warehouse.

My little sister lived in Baytown Texas from the age of 18 until she passed at 42, in 2009 and we could only get her to leave her home one time due to this.  I told her she had to leave she was a Mother when Rita was coming.  Spent more time stuck on the highway than the 4 hours drive time to my house.   All blessed Rita turned out easier than most but she did not ever evacuate again.

Scum of the earth. In my cold little heart, I hope they are sucked out to sea... or maybe something worse. 

They deserve ANYTHING that happens to them.
