Re: Brands returning to QVC?

OMG I still miss Gloria's Polish Stoneware Shows. Beautiful stoneware and a wonderful group of ladies in our forum. And then it was all gone.

Re: Brands returning to QVC?

I wish they would bring back the Lydia Bastianich line of pottery - and expand it.

When she first appeared, I got a bakeware set. It was so outstanding, I followed up with the pasta bowls...and then got bakeware as Christmas gifts for my cousins. Many years later, they are all still in use (not like my TempTations, which all cracked, chipped or broke!).

I recently saw that the pasta set was back "as is"...it's been several years - I got an early Christmas preent for my cousin...if they are still "finding" product to sell - why not bring back this line????

Re: Brands returning to QVC?

It seems that whenever I've tried to "collect" something, the Q gets rid of it.

It started with Molly Dallas.  I had intended to collect the entire thing in order to have a whole dinnerware and baking set.   Gone.

Remember the Rocket Grill?  That the Q would always have the parchment bags?  No... no they discontinued the bags as soon as the Grill was sold out.  Great product... found my bags on Amazon.  Still works great!

Polish Stoneware from Gloria.  Started a serious collection (instead of Molly Dallas)... I started before she introduced color to her blue hues.  Got up to havng my bakeware set, bowls and 2 dinner plates and she was discontinued..  my money then went to her Website.

So I am extremely cautious of starting anything that will require the Q to carry it long enough for me to amass what I need.....

I bought the pasta bowls, the large serving bowl, and the meat platter when they were first on the Q.  I love these items.

We use them all of the time.  In fact, the pasta bowls are large enough I often use them as serving bowls for vegetables or side dishes at meals.  And when it is just DH and I for supper I often use a pasta bowl to mix a tossed salad.  I can chill the bowl, make the salad a little before time and it stays ice cold in the frig.

Did I say I love these items?  LOL!!

Re: Brands returning to QVC?

Have been retired for 15 plus years but use to always buy my professional attire from the Q and HSN. LOVED Terry Lewis' leather good - first class all the way. I felt her suede was second to none. I still have a few pieces of Jessica Holbrook - my favorite is a pair of white lined slacks - you cannot find anything to match the quality and beauty of these clothes Am scared to wear thes slacks and yes, I still fit in them, as am afraid the material will not hold up - bought a very long time ago. There was another line of clothing from the Q but not real sure what it was called. It was all wool and they had marvelous mix and match things - Precious Fibers???? or something like that. Ahhhh, for the good old days.
