It's her face, her decision.  

I've used sunscreen liberally since my 20s.  Now in my 60s I started to notice dark spots on my face and a few on my arms and hands.  I'm thinking they'd have come sooner if I hadn't used so much sunscreen but still, I didn't like them. I don't want to limit my activities when the weather is nice but being 75% Irish, it's really hard to prevent those spots.

I'm very pleased with the laser spot removal. I paid $225 out of pocket at the end of Oct.  I know once the sun gets strong again in June it will be a battle to keep them from coming back.  I decided I'm going to buy a couple of uva/uvb protective long sleeve shirts and attach a longer visor to my riding helmet to see if that helps. If they come back, I'll go again at the end of next October and have them lasered.

Right now during the winter months I love that the spots are virtually unnoticable. They're gone and I love it! It was the best $225 I've spent in a long time.

I've had an issue with botox where I ended up with a droopy eyebrow. I went back and had it fixed. Not a big deal and not permanent. I have been going to the same MD for years and trust her completely.
Many women use botox and fillers as part of routine maintenance- like having a facial or getting your teeth cleaned. Admittedly, this woman is young, but she's probably using botox as a preventative measure.
I'm all for choice in aging. Some age naturally and gracefully, but I intend to fight it for as long as I can. Whatever your choice, it's all good.

Personally I would never use Botox as I think it's long-term effects may not be known.

People are using it for all kinds of medical reasons too like migraines, excessive perspiration, etc.

 "Botox" is only used for the forehead and side eye crinkles - not lips.  (hyckynut)

I've never had botox but the first tip off was "med-spa".  If you want to have the procedure done best to go to a Dermatologist or a plastic surgeon.  

I've always been wary of  these "med-spas."

Several years back a couple together had Botox injections The dr. was unaware that the supply was not Botox.  However, the doctor decided to try a new supplier and it was not Botox.  The couple ended up in the hospital for a long time.  Could not talk, I believe it was the wife, and other medical issues.  This story was on I believe 20/20.  I cannot understand why this young woman thinks the pros out weigh the cons.  She looks a mess unless this is staged which is very possible.

It's most important where you go.  The botox needs to be "fresh".  Many times some only need one-half of a vial and they put the other half  back in the frig or wherever for someone else.

John, when you see those big lips, it's from filler, not Botox.  Botox freezes nerves (the unfortunate gal in the picture), but you need to pump stuff into the lips to get the fish lips look.

I read somewhere that Botox, and fillers are used, to plump up the lips. "Fish Lips", never thought of it, but now that you mention it, that is the best description I have heard.

Knew about the "pumping" using a syringe. I have seen it done several times on daytime shows by Dermatologists mostly, to show doubters or those fearful, that it is painless. 

For me even ones done well take away looks of a pretty face, not improve it. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and that is "my eyes" conclusion.
