@SandySparkles   She said she is at the stage where the botox is wearing off, thankfully.

She put her ordeal out there so that others will be aware that botox injections are not always safe.

I give her kudos for that; not many people would show their faces distorted knowing the unkind remarks that would follow.

She is very grateful for the support she has received and hopefully others will think a second time about botox.

That isn't "stupid" to be an example of a potential side effect; and while she is, indeed, very pretty, her face, her choice.  Nothing stupid to be fixed; just a choice many others make every day.

She also said the experience has not deterred her from having the procedure done again, she would just go to different medi-spa.

So??  As I said, her face, her choice.

The fault was with the provider.

Very unfortunate, but I hope her face goes back to where it was..She is a very pretty woman, she didn't even need anything done, but  hopefully this was just a fluke and won't happen again, since it sounds like she will be doing it again.....

When I'm dubious or vexed I want everyone to see. So Botox isn't for me.

At the same time, I know people who consider Botox a normal beauty procedure. In certain circles, you're unusual if you don't have any botox after age 30 and it isn't considered any more foolish or vain than any other skincare treatment.

It wasn't this lady's fault they injected her incorrectly. She had every reason to expect it to be administered properly.

Oh dear.  I'm sorry to admit that my first reaction was to laugh as I thought it was a joke.

My next thought was rather unkind that it serves her right for injecting botulinum toxin poison for beauty.

I do give her credit for sharing and warning others.  I wish women would be grateful for their health and what they have, and accept that aging is going to happen unless you die young.

Thank you so much for the update! I was hoping it would not be permanent for her; she is such a beautiful young lady.😊 How brave of her to share her story AND photo; as shocking as it is, for the benefit of others. I have heard of potential side effects, but was not aware they could be that serious.🤔

She is to be commended for her candor, and vulnerability, and I concur; it is indeed NOT stupid!

As a male, and a very old one, I don't get the botox lips thing. Have seen a few "stars(?)" with what I consider "botched" work, and to me, they took away beauty, not enhanced it.

I've talked men from many age groups between early 30's and up to 85 years old. We all seem to agree on "what the he!!" is the matter with these ladies. Huge lips to me are a distraction from a pretty face, even those that are not overdone.

As one that has had several cosmetic procedures, I am not against it. I just don't get the "big lips" deal! 👎

Looking at her before photo, I have to wonder what she thought the botox would do for her.  And if she thought she needed a larger eye look, why didn't she first try making her brow line narrower.  That would have been a lot less expensive and troublesome.
