@shoesnbags Perhaps "buffer" isn't the right term but D3 needs MK7 to help channel it in the right direction.  Maybe it's for higher doses of D3.

Yes, MK7 works with D3 and is definitely recommended for our bones, which is why I take it too.  But that has nothing to do with the high dose of D3 that you've been taking.  The MK7 works just fine with a much lower dose of D3.  And the MK7 won't protect you from toxic effects of too much D3  - it doesn't work that way.

MK7 works synergistically with the D3. It does not protect you from the toxic effects of taking too much D.

When your doctor said you had toxic levels, was it because you told him how much you were taking or was he looking at blood test results?  My doctor tests mine every year.  As with most thngs in life, moderation is usually the best course.

What are the short term side effects of the shot?  I had my flu shot on Monday.  SO glad I didn't do the pneumonia shot with it!  I have never ever had any issues with the flu shot.  It could have been a coincidence but yesterday I thought I was going to die.  I had so many "pain" issues I had to deal with while we were out and all night last night.   Pain that didn't seem related to anything.  (Seemingly) no rhyme or reason.  I was finally ready to go to the ER but decided to try some hard drugs first.  That worked but I'm paying for it now.

Dr also suggested a shingles shot.  My Mother Earth anti vax daughter would be having a fit Smiley Surprised  I won't tell her about the other shots.  Everything that happens to me will be because of one of the vaccines I had Smiley Surprised  She's certain my heart attack was due to the Covid vaccine.

Did you get the 'senior' version of the flu shot?  It's more potent than the regular flu shot.  If you didn't specify which one you wanted, they might have automatically given you the senior vaccine.

I always state emphatically beforehand that I want the regular shot.

My doc had me schedule one, so come January, it's my turn.
