The President just ordered all of them grounded

Yea!
It makes me mad that the FAA didn't ban them like so many other countries did right away! At least until everyone was totally sure about the software or whatever. To take any chance at all because of money-just inexcusable. I'm also disappointed in SW and American, that they didn't take initiative.

I’m glad too especially since learning that several pilots in the US had filed some complaints about the jets.

Another reason I HATE flying.

I’m afraid if SW & American would’ve taken the initiative to ground,
higher powers (FAA) would’ve doubled-down on reasons why
they shouldn’t...and it would’ve been just delayed logic.

The US has alot of restrictions, WAY more than other countries and US carriers are the safest. I cringe when I fly something other than in the US. It will all play out, no worries

The right thing should have been done right away like other countries did.
If there was any concern or question about any safety issue or the software going to autopilot or whatever, they should have been grounded until it was fixed if needed to be.
And now the right thing was done.
Good.
Some people opted to change their flights who were scheduled on a 737 max.
I called both airlines with my daughter's flights to make sure they werent on a 737 max.
From my call I know there were many in the country doing the same thing.
By the way, AA said they only fly those to Miami.
Just do the right thing!

Until they figure out why, everything else is speculatory. Could have been a host of reasons including pilot error.

I'm relieved! I'm flying in a few weeks but it's on an Airbus. However I wasn't sure what my son & brother were flying on to go visit mom in Fl.

Off-topic, but who ever came up with the name "Airbus"? Buses don't fly. It conjures up these images for me. Lol.
