It is always so sad to hear of singers of MY generation who pass away.  It makes me think of my own mortality and I don't consider myself "old" by any stretch of the imagination.  I loved the rock & roll music of the 50's & 60's.  Too bad it is so hard to find except for on discs.  I don't have a tape player anywhere else but the car and I am never in it.  RIP Bobby Vee and thank you for your wonderful music!

So sad. I have always respected him because he had a long time marriage and you just never read negative things about him - cannot say that about many. At least I do not recall anything..That disease just nails so many fine people.
