Re: Boards And New Year Resolution

I’ve always said whenever the word “you” is used, it should be tagged for the Moderators.  There’s a really good chance it’s not positive & it’s being used as a personal attack.

Unless it’s...‘I love you!’ or ‘You are great!’...! 💛

Or you know how banned words are typed out as *****?

The Moderators could have an algorithm in place if the

word ‘you’ is used (again, most likely in negative context)

just have it replaced with “the kitten” or “I’m wrong”...or

some other silly phrase.

“....what do you know about...”

....what do the kitten know about...

”....you are so wrong about that....”

...I’m wrong are so wrong about that....

See where I’m going? Giggle.

What other silly phrases could replace ‘you’?

Will this put an end to the often brought up complaints of facebook, cell phones, fake IRS calls, host bashing, SG prices, LR threads, high S&H and all year QVC Christmas programs? Woman LOL

Re: Boards And New Year Resolution

Once again, I'm resolving to not make any "new year resolutions".  I just try to do my best throughout the year.

As a poster mentioned - gratitude is a good position to adopt in general. It covers a multitude of sins. It helps us to walk away from fussy folks or those just having a bad day.

I haven’t made a new year’s resolution for at least 25 years.   It became something people did because it was an ‘everyone expects it’ thing and most people know it’s not going to happen even as they reveal their resolution.

@jubilant   Your post is such a wonderful Dale Carnegie philosophy. Love it. Imagine if that behavior was the norm.
