Charity Donation Reminder

Just a reminder for those who have been meaning to contribute to a charity this year, or want to contribute more before the end of the year, but haven't gotten around to it. Many charities take contributions on-line, and take donations of all sizes! From cancer research, alzheimer's research, animal support, help for the impoverished, your local community center, your religious organization outreach for the poor - there are many worthy charities. Happy New Year's to All!

And that also includes anything you want to drop off at the Salvation Army, Goodwill, etc. They ARE open today!

Also you might want to research to see what % the donations goes to (actually helps), if the charity is legitimate, and how much the CEO's/etc make.

Also, if you can, remember your local charities. Your donation can mean so much to a food bank, women's shelter or animal shelter. Just a thought.

Reminders? Who needs a reminder when we get emails all the time about donations. Go into stores and they ask for donations. Walk down the street and people ask you for donations. We don't need reminders. This isn't 1950!

Losing donations as a tax deduction after today....unless your itemized deductions top $24,000.
