I was on a Whale watch last week off the coast of Massachusetts and the day before, they spotted a Blue Whale. They had not seen 1 since 2011. We did not see it that day, but saw many Fin Whales, which are the second largest animal in the world. It was awesome to see them in their natural habitat.

I've been close enough to a Gray whale to touch its head. That was huge enough. I can't imagine how big a Blue whale would be up that close!

I just read on facebook today that the Whale Watch tour saw the Blue Whale again yesterday or today. You can look at 7 Seas Whale Watch out of Gloucester Massachusetts on Facebook. They have fabulous photos and videos.

Yeah, they are an amazing animal.  They need the ocean to swim in, they are so big. Not in an area, like Sea World was.

Hi @Kachina624   Woman Happy

That is an absolutely remarkable photo!  Remarkable Blue Whale.  I had absolutely no idea.  Thanks for proportionality, people surrounding.  Unfathomable.

And thanks for the comparison sketch chart too.  Had no idea.
