Ha!! Often true.

My dd was born on a marine base, her dad was training for desert storm. He was there for the birth and went back to training that night.
When you have serviceman missing their kids being born entirely I think this pales in comparison.
I agree with you. This guy is no team player, he should have gone to his million dollar job instead of hanging around the house with a baby that sleeps most of the time. I hope they cut him. Boomer was right.

This reminds me of when my cousin had her 1st baby. The Super bowl was on. Would you believe they had a football party in the waiting room with a small group of people while she was in labor? Give me a break! I would have had a fit if my husband thought some sport game was more important than our babies delivery! Needless to say 2 kids later my cousin is now divorced.
People schedule c-sections all the time for convenience of either the parents and the doctor.

We are in the minority.

This whole thing is nuts. We are talking about a stupid game. We are not talking about serving the country.
It would be nice if science could give men a taste of carrying a child and giving birth.

Was this in response to my post?

No, It was in response to the OP and the whole situation. I am not having issues with you or other posters, but I was stating my opinion.
