He is one ""preacher"" I trusted and believed in. Others always seemed to have an agenda.

He leaves a great legacy.

This was at Vanderbilt Stadium in 1954 it was amazing, I was there. This was the last night of the crusade and they said an estimated 65,000 attended.

I will miss him. He was so true to what Christianity is all about and always practiced what he preached. God willing, soon he will be with his Lord and his Ruth whom he loved so much. I loved Ruth, too. They were such a good match for each other and an inspiration to many. I love the verse that says....Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. (Psalm 116:15) (I heard once that this means that "a saints death in carefully watched over")

I've prayed for him, have for a long time. I've watched him since I was about five. I met him years ago and have watched him preach.

He's a wonderful, loving man. It's sad to see his decline, but he is aging. He is ready to go to heaven now. I'm sure His father will answer his request soon, but we will all suffer his loss for an unbelievable amount of time. {#emotions_dlg.crying}

May the Lord above wrap Reverend Billy Graham in his ever-loving arms and take him home in peace and love to be with the good almighty and his family and friends that have passed before him. He is a wonderful testament to us and I have enjoyed watching his sermons. I even have several of his books in my library. He's ready to be with his Lord as well as his loving wife, Ruth. God Bless Rev. Graham and what he has meant to many of us.

With all respect....I would've sworn he was already gone. I think that's from his ""big"" presence even when I grew up in the 70's...I thought he was older back then! Nice man.

My dad would gladly walk with him this day.

I remember even my grandparents watching his televised revivals. 95. He has led a very long and very good life. He has done much and unselfish work his whole life. I pray he is not in pain and pray that his family has peace when it comes time to mourn this great man. I watched his recent special, The Cross, twice. I am currently trying, again, to read the Bible in one years time.

My grandparents from Italy had two pictures hanging up in the living room - President Kennedy and Pope John XXIII. But they also watched Billy Graham every time he was on TV.

He reached everyone and had a simple, powerful message of love and compassion.

Too bad his son isn't like him at all.

I've seen the videos of the crusades, and I still see them now and then on a couple of our cable channels.

It's hard to talk about death, but I wanted to say I believe he touched countless hearts and transformed and enriched a legion of lives.

His life was his love offering. I pray for his last days here to be a peaceful, gentle transition.

I keep thinking of one of my favorite hymns... and one that often was his altar call... Just As I Am.
