I think he has been ready to go to new home in heaven for quite a while now and probably wonders why he hasn't been taken there. While on earth Billy Graham has been a wonderful inspiration to many of us. He is one minister who I always sat and watched him on TV. He never ever failed to keep my interest on what he was speaking about. I would love to see him one more time ministering to all of us. I don't think there will be any questions asked of him when he gets to heavens gates everyone will be there to welcome him finally home.

I liked Billy Graham. I guess it's his time. I remember one of his daughters being interviewed on a talk show and she was asked "'What's the thing that saddens your father most", she replied "He said that for all the people who went to his crusades and were saved, the world didn't get any better". Seemed like folks forgot about what was required of them. He was a man who stayed the course and a very good example for men to admire.

But we don't know how world would've been without all the people who were saved. Probably worse is my guess.

My wish for anyone near death is to go easily and to not go from this world alone.

Very nice. That is my hope, also... I pray he does not suffer.

This comes to mind when I think of him…

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Hi cater.

You may remember that Rev Graham recently celebrated his 95th birthday. (November 7)At that time "The Cross" aired nationally on many television stations, and continued to be aired in many time slots and marketplaces throughout the week. Several of the giants in contemporary Christian music had gotten together to compose music specifically for this occasion and a CD, titled "My Hope" was released.

One of the artists that composed and sang on the CD was Michael W. Smith. The friendship between Michael and Billy Graham goes back more than 30 years. In fact, it might be even longer. Just prior to the CD release Michael was interviewed and shared that every time in recent months that he got together with his dear friend, Rev Graham clearly stated that he was ready to go home. The title of the song that Michael wrote for Rev. Graham is, "Take Me Home". I think it really speaks to the heart of how Rev Graham is feeling now. Trust me - - Billy is ready. The family has asked for our prayers this weekend.

You said that you would have liked to have heard Rev Graham preach one more time. Please know that if you go to You Tube, you can still view "The Cross", which was a most important message that Rev Graham worked on over the last year and shared with our nation on his 95th birthday, on the evening of Nov. 7. I thought you might be interested in viewing it.

Blessings, Christine

Benzgirl, thank you so much for letting me know where I can go to view The Cross, I will do that.I don't think we will ever have another great minister like Rev. Graham. It just seems like everyone knows who he is and how much he cares about people. Very nice seeing you on here Benzgirl and also blessings to you always Christine. Take care and hope all is well with you and I know how much respect you have for Rev Graham.
