I agree, Qwakertoo. I started to write something a couple of times but hated to get into the argument.

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but this is a case of "just because you can doesn't mean you should," imho. A separate thread might have sufficed.

This is one of those time when it is best to take the high road. Or like my Momma's always said, IF you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all. I just don't get the constant battles about EVERYTHING. Nothing is off limits it seems.

I agree too. We are talking about a wonderful person who has led a great life for the Lord.

I was in a Study about 10 years ago with an elderly lady that had saved every name of every person who had come forward while she was working for Billy Graham. She said most of the other people did too. wow I cannot imagine that.

Besides the cross you are referring to there is another cross inside the museum at the end of the tour. You walk through it, at the base of the cross. It's illuminated by white light. Once you come through, you are in the last room of the tour and standing before a wall to wall/floor to ceiling painting of the hill at Calvary. I think I recall our guide telling us that this was Thomas Kincaid's last work. the painting is magnificent and we were told that it took several months to complete the painting. It was obviously a great labor of love.

I would love to go there! Does it take more than 1 day to see everything there?

No. Not at all. The library is just that. It's a book store and a very nice restaurant. The walking tour takes place in the same building and takes anywhere between an hour to an hour and a half - - depending on how much you want to look at and read. But of course you will want to tour the family homestead, which is right on campus and visit the gravesite of Ruth Graham. Again, everything is right there on the same campus and very easy to walk from one area to the next. I hope you get to visit soon.
