Anyone else having high winds today?  A front is coming through the state and we've had wind gusts in 50+mph range; up to 80mph in other parts of the state.  It blew over my heavy recycling garbage can this morning and my sheltie thought the world was coming to an end.  He barked in the house for 2 hours, completely spooked.  Shelties are a little psychotic.

We had 80+ mph winds last week, and the week before that - and no power for 5 days.

Noon news reported that the storm will hit in my area later this evening.

Always windy in Tx. A day without blowing winds would make me think something was out of whack.

We have idiots who when it warms up disregard fire warnings and will start up the grill and for the love of a hamburger burn thousands of acres and make people leave their homes.  We had one firefighter who almost died fighting a fire that was unnecessary.

People who do this stupid stuff need to be held accountable.

@Kachina624

Aaaarrrggghhh!  And today was the day I was going to focus on the front yard.  Forget it!  At least the sand has settled and I can see the Sandias again.

Yes, it's horrible. It wasn't bad around noon but it's been terrible the last couple hours.
