Sunala, you are so right. She can wear anything and look good. Over the years she certainly has brought us a lot of joy from movies to her shows wherever she goes.

I was surprised at how young she looks and still recognizable. Her voice can't hit the high notes as well but she is doing good for her age. I never considered her classy though. Grace Kelly was classy. Bette Midler is singer/entertainer and somewhat crude when she opens her mouth.

Yes, it was somewhere in time from the movie of the same name. But, I believe it was John Barry who wrote it. He also wrote the theme from Out of Africa and Dances with wolves. He died a couple of years ago. Great composer.

Many years ago when she was first becoming known, she had a few runs at the old Mr. Kelly's in Chicago. I did not see her performing but I was living in that area for a while and I used to see her out and about. She was really small and had the long curly hair. Not sure what she wore during her act but anytime you saw her outside she was really casually dressed (jeans and usually a really interesting looking top). I thought she looked really good then. She was rather curvy but really built on the small side. I remember looking at her skin and thinking it was pretty darn near perfect.
