I wanted to make it up to him for what some horrible excuse of a human being did to him by burning his back with chemicals, by giving him a home so full of love!

As it turns out, he's giving us so much more!

I'm really amazed that he's such a sweet and loving boy, after what was done to him.

No one will ever hurt him again, I'll tell ya' that!

in 1998 we rescued a 5 yr old female Lhasa Apso who had been terribly abused. As a result she was a sponge for love and she was 'dad's little girl', and oh, how she loved my husband. Her little body gave out at age 11 and my husband was with her at the vet as she crossed over to the Bridge and to this day he has not gotten over her death.  She was one special little girl.

Despite all the horrible abuse she suffered before we got her, she just wanted to be loved - touched and cuddled.  

Sounds as though you have a large, male version of her - a big ole lovebug
