@KingstonsMom  He's not quite 2, so still in the puppy stage.   Thinks he's a lap dog as well.  She has 2 cats as well.

@KingstonsMom. Congratulations on your new bundle of joy.  I got mine about 3 weeks ago from a shelter via collie rescue.  We think she is a Sheltie mix about a year old.  She chews everything.  I got an old collie and an older Aussie and she's giving them fits.  I can say Misty has lit up our lives.

What a cutie! My dog is a Sheltie/Corgie rescue.  We have had our dog 15 years.  We adopted her when she was 2.

LOL! Kingston thinks he's a lap dog too, but at 55 lbs, he weighs half of what I do!

He's such a sweetheart and so far, no bad habits at all have surfaced.

Keeping fingers crossed, LOL!

I can see a little corgie in him too. Such a sweet face!

That's great. Hopefully it will all continue to be so.   Brindle is my favorite coloring on dogs.

Gizmo is closing in on 80 pounds.

The dog is now adopted, so no link.

@daisey10@missy1

@missy1 is correct, now that he's been adopted, they removed his profile. Here's his pic:

Re: Best present ever! Meet my Rescue!

I would concur that he definitely looks like he has some pit in him.  I can say this as someone who's been around the breed for almost 20 years (my cousin's wife takes in pits as part of a foster program).  But whatever his pedigree may be, one thing's for certain... he's BEAUTIFUL!!  I love the brindle coloring.  And he does look like a happy boy!  Enjoy, congrats, and thanks for rescuing him!!!  Heart
