Bernie Madoff Terminally Ill Seeks Compassionate Release

Bernie Madoff's attorney is seeking compassionate release from prison for him. He claims Bernie is suffering from renal failure and has less than 18 months to live. Bernie's sentence for bilking people out of their money is so long that he wouldnt get out of prison during his lifetime without being granted compassionate.release.

If he really is dying, do you think he should be released?

He did what he did, and he is what he is.  Why does a terminal disease warrant compassion when the man himself is the same person?    No.

How compassionate was he to his victims when he robbed them of their life savings/earnings?

After he stole everyone's life savings so he could live like a king??  He needs to stay in prison!
