Here in Florida (Broward County), somebody (anonymously) tossed a gold coin (50 peso) into a Salvation Army bucket and it is worth $1,500.....{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

how cool

My thoughts exactly. My husband says "who would carry a coin like that in their pocket, if not to give it away" and I say "but maybe he just didn't know what the coin was and just got caught up in the moment while he/she was passing by and threw it in the bucket???????

There's usually someone every year who puts a gold krugerrand in a Sally Army kettle. The gold peso coin is different.
