@occasionalrain   Count me in for a before bed snack. I'm always hungry and we eat dinner early...about 5:30 to 6, so by11PM...time for another "meal" for me.

I try to stay away from sugar, but a slice of whole wheat bread with a bit of all natural, organic peanut butter does the trick for me. That has a bit of protein and carbs from the bread, but not a sugar overload that would keep me awake. Oh, I have a glass of warm skim milk with it.

I have yogurt a couple of hours before going to sleep but usually wake up during the night for a piece of bread and a glass of milk.  I cannot sleep on an empty stomach--LOL!!

No I try to stop eating by 7 - 7:30 pm.  which leaves me about 3 hours before going to bed.

I try to have dinner on the table by 5:30. I work at home and husband is home by 5:15. By 9, I am usually craving a little bit of sweet. I will have some blueberries or an apple, but I really do love a grape Outshine bar before bed.

With colder weather I sometimes have a cup of hot chocolate in the evening made with 2% chocolate milk.  And a little whipped cream.

I don't recall having ever had a bedtime or midnight snack in my life.  Bad habit to start.  I'm just not attuned to eating at that time at night.

I eat one good meal a day (dinner) and no snacking at all.   Works for me.

@Kachina624

There is nothing bad about eating when and whatever you wish as long as you haven't an allergy or health issue. I haven't allergies, not overweight, nor have any  health issues so there's nothing bad about my habit.
