Bed, Bath, and Beyond Question

If you order an Item in the store is the shipping free?

Thanks!

Re: Bed, Bath, and Beyond Question

I signed up for emails from BBB, and I often get 20% off store coupons or free shipping offers on certain products.  You might want to check out the website for special offers, e.g., free shipping when you spend a certain amount.

@ECBG

Yes, shipping to the store for pick up is free and don't forget to use a 20% off coupon when you pick the item up!

If you don't have any coupons, you can sign up on their website for emails and they'll email you one!

I've never done this. Why not ask when you place the order or call the store and ask someone there?

Re: Bed, Bath, and Beyond Question

I read recently that they are going to stop with the 20% off coupons.  Also that to get great deals or offers you will have to join for a yearly fee some kind of a club.  Seems that they have been losing money offering the 20% coupons.

I heard this rumor too and asked a manager at my store if it was true and he said he'd heard nothing at all to that effect. If it is true, he sure hadn't heard anything about it from upper management at BBB.

I asked an assistant manager that question a few weeks ago.  She said I was the second person that day asking about this.  She hadn't heard anything about it from the higher-ups.

I would rarely shop there without the coupon incentive.

@KingstonsMom We must have been typing at the same time.

Re: Bed, Bath, and Beyond Question

@SeaMaidenCould well be -  I know I virtully never buy anything at BBB without a coupon.  I just assume their price is inflated enough to cover that cost.

A club account would probably work for many -  that's one big way Amazon and Costco make profit.  For a long time that was the only way Amazon did, not sure about Costco.  I know those club fees were a profit maker for them from me.  I never saved enought during the year to pay the fee!  Just liked the convenience.  And now I gave both up and so far am not really missing them.

I might never go to BBB if the only way I might save was to join a club -  another place I don't use often enough to erase any fee.  Of course, that means they are not losing a huge customer.
