Re: Bed Bath & Beyond Returning

It's true @50Mickey where I would shop for home decor locally, now I shop on line for them.

Re: Bed Bath & Beyond Returning

Here's a head scratcher ........

We had a very beautiful BB&B here.  When it closed, they chained the access to the parking lot, left empty fixtures in place, and the lights are on every single night

Obviously, they could rent out the building ... IF some other retailer wants to try a B&M location, but so many have closed, that seems unlikely.

My best guess is they may occasionally be renting the location to film crews for shooting "retail scenes".

What else could it be?

The BB&B close to me became a Barnes & Noble.

@50Mickey - the one close to me became a Barnes and Noble also.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: Bed Bath & Beyond Returning

Container Store just filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Company says it will attempt to reorganize, but if Pier 1 and others couldn't succeed,  I don't see it happening.  Existing stores remain open as of now.
