Wow. I'm too scared to post my opinion now. I'm not in the mood to be slapped down for it or for any possible infraction by our self-appointed monitor.

To me, there's nothing wrong with appreciating beauty in anywhere/anyhing/anyone.

I'm going with Nigella Lawson, the singer Sade, Gloria Steinem and of couse, the wonderful Dame Helen Mirren.

I guess I fit this category too I am 65 will be 66 in Feb (not sure where the years have gone) despite a health issue and the pandemic I try to take care of me and of course my other half. We eat well and lead a nice life. Not sure what will happen once dining outdoor season ends, guess it will be back to ordering in.

I wear nice clothes keep my hair and nails in nice and even if I could use a to lose a few more lbs, I am proud of who I am

I think I have a recent pic as my avator.

I’ve come to accept that posting here includes dealing with posters who seem to get satisfaction from routinely pointing out to others any perceived posting misstep. It reveals much about their character.

As for aging beauty, I think adapting our makeup and hairstyles (and attitudes) to the aging process often results in a beauty that transcends wrinkles or jowls. Judy Dench is an example. I see many older women with signs of age who are beautiful.

Re: Beautiful women age 60+

Susan Sarandon and Sally Field come to mind. They've both aged gracefully and naturally, IMO.

Another comes to mind: Marilu Henner of "Taxi" fame.

I think Glen Close looks better now than 25 years ago, and that first navy blue dress, gorgeous 😊

Goldie Hawn looks fab at 74. Yes, she's probably had some work done, but she still looks like Goldie Hawn, which is a lot. And she's happy and active and still dances in the kitchen washing dishes on Instagram. Cute house and pup too.
