I always loved Barry's music and thought he was a great performer. I think I read where he has had several surgeries the past few years and of course he's ageing. His voice isn't what it used to be, but he has his loyal fans.

I am a devoted fan. I agree that his plastic surgeon did a terrible job. I have gone to four live concerts and he is one of the best entertainers around. I remember when back in the eighties three other women and myself were getting ready to drive from the San Fernando Valley, California to Orange County for a live open air concert and we made sure we all had enough tissues because he sang a lot of tear jerker songs.

I'm a big fan from way back. DH and I fell in love to Barry Manilow music (and others of the day). I remember wanting concert tickets badly. I took a day off work, got in line at the Ticketron outlet....ended up with two of the worst concert tickets I ever had, but we were there.

I have to agree with the others about his appearance and diminishing abilities now. He used to really be able to belt the songs out, but when I saw him on with Carolyn a couple of months ago, it was sad.

We saw him decades ago in a live performance. He was excellent. Looked at the Q for a moment yesterday and saw him. Was astonished at how he looked. Quickly turned to another channel.

He has never been known for his singing talent. He is a showman, and a song writer. Nothing more. People who write often sing... badly. They get away with it because they sing songs that they wrote.

I do feel sorry that Barry can not age gracefully and feels he need to have the face and hair( not his) of a 25 year old. He is in that class of entertainers like Joan River who just do not want to age. I imagine it must be very consuming never just being happy with who you really are as you age. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

Terrific showman, but I love Barry only when Barry sings Barry, meaning his own music.

Had the biggest crush on him.

I saw him in 1977 at the Greek in Los Angeles & again in Anaheim. He was fantastic. Not so good anymore & recently saw him on The Talk. Sorry to say he has lost his voice imo.

Not a good look IMO

I think the 80's hair style.... weird hair color for a man 70 plus years old.. and the thick white pancake makeup are a combination for disaster.{#emotions_dlg.sad}
