You are not too plain to wear a piece of Barbara's beautiful jewelry.  Choose a piece that speaks to you - by its look, the colors of the gemstones and/or Barbara's inspired meaning.  Then wear it, enjoy it and feel beautiful inside and out.  Blessings to you.

OH honey please treat yourself soon to a nice piece and wear it and enjoy it. If you love it wear it, maybe a ring would be a nice start. Nonsense about not being the right type, you wear the jewelry not the other way around!

I've looked at Barbara Bixby jewelry for years and never bought anything.  In the past 6 months, or so, I purchased two pieces. And I returned them 

One was a stack ring. I wore it once and lost a stone. 

The other was a very pretty gemstone bracelet.  It had a magnetic clasp.  I had it on for only a few minutes, and it fell off...thankfully I was still at home. 

I would imagine the quality was probably better years ago. But it's lousy now.

dusty1...How can you say you are too plain to wear a piece of beautiful jewelry?  If you love Barbara Bixby's jewelery, buy a ring, a necklace or a pair of earrings and show the world how beautiful you are.  I hope the next time I see you on these boards you will be telling all of us about the piece of Barbara's jewelry you are wearing and how many compliments you have been gettng.

I now own two of the flower rings and just ordered a pair of earrings. Great quality. Some pieces are too busy for me others I love.

I am sorry that you did not have a good experience with BB but you are right I like her sweet personality and her creativity however the quality of her jewelry now is not the same as it was some years ago. I did not buy the TSV because I have nicer enhancers from her. Still I really like her wearable art🌻

@Dusty1 Consider Bixby's 'vine' ring. It's a lovely simple piece and comes in a number of gemstone options. I think you might enjoy it. It's pictured below in iolite.

I like many of her pieces, have always wanted to own something. I didn't get the key tsv, never saw it presented on air to get a good look. Kind of regret it now, but I've just been doing too much buying for myself lately.

The one piece I am really in love with is her necklace with the birds and pearls, I think it's called a sparrow necklace? I'm not a fan of skull jewelry but that's just my personal taste.
