My neighbor was just telling me about this.  All of her accounts were at zero.  Ack.  She said she didn't totally panic because she hadn't received any texts regarding suspicious activity.

Are we going to start anything out there that can cause panic?

@Tori3569.  Heck no, my $10M is gone and I'm happy as a clam.  FDIC will kick in and I'll be able to pay the mortgage this month.

@kitcat51.  They may have been hacked so if accounts were frozen, that's a good thing.  Everyone who is anyone has been hacked, it seems.  They seem to have excellent security.

BOA headquarters are in Charlotte, NC. Could this be related to the hurricane causing infrastructure issues?

@On It.  Could be as they're dabbling with utilities in that area, trying to restore them.

Warren Buffet is dumping his shares like crazy this year. He likely knows something you don't.

Keep in mind ..... Sooner or later, EVERYONE gets hacked.

If you switched banking institutions, there's NO guarantee they can't be hacked.

It was mentioned they have buildings in the NC area .... it might have been triggered by Helene's flooding.

I was wondering the same thing.  I'm sure we'll hear more about the NC locations.

TV news has said the bank says the problem has been corrected but I still can't see my account.  "Account can't be accessed".  I'm glad I don't need any cash today.

Already know that, 4 companies with my information have been hacked so far this year. I'm fed up with BOA & can't wait to leave.
