There is nothing frivolous about a company deliberately cheating a customer and unless they suffer consequences they will continue.

I heard on the radio today that a man was suing a bakery because of a bagel mishap. He asked for real butter and he got margarine. He sued and received $500.00 plus 9 bakery treats. Fourteen other people followed suit and got 3 bakery treats. The attorney was paid $90,000. How crazy have we gotten over lawsuits???

no

If I want butter on my bagel I want butter,  however I found it interesting that "food safety" reasons require butter to be refrigerated, and therefore hard to spread on the bagel.

Butter...Margarine...Seriously?  Doesn't make a difference.

He paid extra for "Warm Salty Greasy Yellow Liquid"

but I guess that description wouldn't fit on the food board

under their 'Topppings".

Sue?  How about "Could I have a new one with real butter, please?"

@VanSleepyToo logical-considering he claimed that this happened at 23 locations??

At what point did he realize that his bagel didn't have butter? Didn't DD say that the butter comes in packets on the side??

Thank goodness the diameter of the bagel isn't advertised-what a horror show that would be.LOL

Yes, there is a world of difference between butter and margarine. If you can't discern the difference you may as well subsist on Ensure.

Yes to Irish butter; I've been getting it at Aldi of all places for only $2.89 a half pound.
